Next, I stitched in the new trunk pan where it meets the original sheet metal by the back of the car. This required some creative clamping to get the metal flat against the original sheet metal. I used a block of wood and a woodworking bar clamp to force the new sheet metal against the old. In the corner, I had to use a smaller block of wood and clamp through the taillight opening.
