Ok, a lot has changed since I last updated my
Chevelle site. I already welded in new floor pans and stripped the
body of all the paint. I installed a dash out of a '66 El Camino
with A/C. Then I put in a Borg Warner T-56 6-speed transmission,
and tore the engine apart and added a "ZZ4 HOT" cam and had the heads ported
and polished and had large 2.02/1.60 valves installed. I also had
the stock intake ported and port matched with the heads. The new
cam came with new springs and I reused my old hydraulic roller lifters.
I also put on a set of 1.6 ratio roller rockers which look really nice.
The setup gives me .525 lift on intake and exhaust.
I haven't found and scanned all the pictures from
that ordeal, but now I've started to replace the trunk. I cut out
most of the old trunk last March, but didn't do a single thing on the car
until this Christmas. I had the entire week off, so I was able to
get a good start on finishing the trunk. I finished removing the
