In April, I ran the car at Firebird International Raceway, with the Saginaw three speed, and it ran a disgusting 15.9 at about 92MPH. Then Butch and I picked up a 1969 Camaro with a Muncie M-20 in it (our next project), and I had that transmission in the Chevelle almost immediately. I started working on it at about 10:30PM, and by 10AM the next day, I was adjusting the shift linkage. The car was awesome with the 4-speed, but I had to cut out my exhaust balance tube to fit the Muncie in, so the car sounded like it was running on open headers. We made a new crossover, and welded it in, and now the car sounds great.
