Before the frame could be disposed of, I needed to remove the rear portion
of the Chevelle frame, in order to graft it onto the El Camino frame. The
El Camino is about 2" longer in the rear. I could've simply shortened the
existing El Camino frame, but it had remnants of a trailer hitch welded
to it that made it really ugly. I cut a similar section from the El Camino.
The exact location of the cut is 5" from where the frame ceases to be boxed
just behind the rear wheel wells.
